KETAHUI KESAN BAHAN KIMIA PRODUK KECANTIKAN
SAYA pernah menggunakan produk kecantikan dan sangat cepat melicinkan wajah. Tapi saya ragu-ragu selepas membaca di laman sosial kesan produk yang ada bahan kimia. Apakah antara nama bahan yang berbahaya untuk kulit dan kesihatan?

APABILA ingin membeli produk kecantikan untuk kulit wajah, anda sering keliru atau tertanya-tanya pada diri sendiri pelbagai persoalan bermain di minda.
Anda tidak mahu ambil risiko mencubanya kerana khuatir kulit muka akan mengalami kerosakan. Perlu diingatkan apabila membeli produk untuk kulit muka perlu baca setiap bahan kandungan produk terbabit.
Ada setengah produk muka nampak perubahan ketara apabila digunakan dan ada yang tidak sampai seminggu mengakibatkan radang di wajah. Perubahan yang sangat cepat bergantung pada kandungan bahan dalam produk itu. Kalau boleh, elakkan produk yang mengandungi bahan terlarang seperti yang tertera di bawah.:
- MIDAZOLIDINY UREA DAN DIAZOLIDINLY UREA
Ia adalah kandungan yang paling umum digunakan untuk bahan pengawet selepas paraben. Bahan utamanya adalah formaldehid yang dikenali untuk mengawetkan mayat dan sangat berbahaya bagi kesihatan manusia. Boleh menyebabkan radang kulit, luka bakar, keradangan, dan pengeluaran air mata.
- METHLY, PROPLY, BUTLY DAN ETHYL PARABEN
Digunakan sebagai penghambat pertumbuhan bakteria dan untuk melanjutkan had masa luput produk. Walaupun diketahui beracun, kandungan ini masih banyak digunakan.
Kesan yang mungkin berlaku adalah timbul banyak reaksi alahan dan ruam kulit.
- PETROLATUM
Elakkan petrolatum atau wangian berbahan petrolatum kerana ini adalah byproduct daripada pengeluaran minyak bumi atau petrol.
- PROYLENE GLYCOL
Ini adalah gliserin sayursayuran yang dicampur dengan alkohol dan diperbuat daripada gandum. Propylene glycol ditemui pada beberapa produk kosmetik dan pembersihan wajah. Zat ini boleh menyebabkan kemerahan pada kulit dan radang kulit. Kajian terkini menunjukkan zat ini juga boleh merosakkan buah pinggang dan hati.
- PVP/VA COLOYMER
Zat kimia yang menghasil keluaran minyak bumi ini digunakan pada produk semburan rambut dan kosmetik lain. Dianggap boleh beracun kerana partikelnya boleh menyebabkan kemasukan bendasing pada paru-paru yang sensitif.
- STEARALKONIUM CHLORIDE
Ia dibangunkan oleh industri tekstil sebagai pelembut kain. Zat kimia ini juga terkandung dalam perapi dan krim rambut. Bahan ini boleh menyebabkan alahan.
- SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE (SLS)
Zat sintetik ini biasanya digunakan pada produk syampu untuk membersihkan dan mencipta banyak buih. Kesan yang ditimbulkan zat ini adalah kegatalan pada mata, ruam kulit, rambut gugur, kelemumur pada kulit kepala dan alahan.
- WARNA SINTETIK
Bahan sintetik warna diyakini sebagai penyebab kanser. Jika dalam produk kosmetik tertera kandungan ini dan jangan sekalikali menggunakannya.
- HARUMAN SINTETIK
Wangian sintetik yang digunakan dalam produk kosmetik mengandungi banyak bahan kimia berbahaya. Apabila anda menggunakan produk wangi, semua bahan kimia berbahaya boleh diserap dalam aliran darah melalui kulit.
Bahan kimia ini boleh mengakibatkan kesan sampingan seperti sakit kepala, pening, ruam, hiper pigmentasi, batuk, muntah dan gatal kulit.
- TRIETHANOLAMINE
Sering digunakan dalam kosmetik untuk menetapkan Ph dan sebagai asas bagi banyak produk pembersihan. Triethanolamine boleh menyebabkan alahan, termasuk masalah mata.
Label kandungan tidak terperinci pada produk kecantikan juga semakin berleluasa di negara ini dan banyak produk kecantikan wajah dijual menawarkan pemutihan dalam tempoh singkat yang dijual di laman sosial.
